Refund Policy

5.1 The trial-first model
SEORav offers a 7-day free trial that begins when you sign up. The trial is designed to give you a full evaluation of the platform before any money changes hands. If you cancel before the end of the trial, your card is never charged.
Because the trial gives you a complete pre-purchase evaluation, we do not offer goodwill refunds for paid subscriptions. If the platform doesn’t meet your needs, cancel during the trial.
5.2 When refunds are available
We will issue a refund in the following circumstances:
Billing errors
We will refund within 5 business days if:
- You were charged twice for the same billing period (duplicate charge)
- You were charged after a confirmed cancellation
- You were charged the wrong tier (e.g., Agency rate when you were on Studio)
- A pricing error (system bug, incorrect promotional code) caused you to be overcharged
To request a billing-error refund, email billing@seorav.com with your account email and the date of the disputed charge.
Service unavailability
If the Services are unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to fault on our part, you may request a pro-rata refund for the affected period. This does not apply to:
- Scheduled maintenance announced in advance
- Outages caused by third-party services we depend on (Anthropic, Voyage AI, Vercel, Hostinger, Supabase, etc.) that are not within our reasonable control
- Outages caused by your own configuration errors
Statutory rights (UK Consumer Rights Act 2015)
If SEORav fails to provide the Services with reasonable care and skill, or fails to provide them within a reasonable time, you have additional rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits those rights.
EU consumers have similar protections under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
5.3 What’s not refundable
- Subscription fees for periods you have already used the Services
- Charges incurred during the trial that you forgot to cancel before day 8
- Subscriptions cancelled mid-billing-cycle (you keep access until the end of the period — no pro-rata refund)
- Founding-member subscriptions cancelled and re-claimed (founding seats returned to the pool cannot be re-purchased at the founding rate by the same person)
5.4 How to cancel
You can cancel from your dashboard at any time:
- Sign in at seorav.com/dashboard
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click “Cancel subscription” (this redirects to the Stripe Customer Portal)
- Confirm cancellation
Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You can export your Customer Content for 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days, content is permanently deleted.
5.5 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer instead of contacting us, we may immediately suspend your account pending resolution. Chargebacks issued without first contacting billing@seorav.com may result in account termination.
